l healing.
With a background in pastoral care and decades spent walking alongside people through difficult seasons, Charles brings a rare depth to his photographic practice. For him, the camera is more than a creative tool — it’s a companion for stillness, a way of noticing, and a quiet path back to oneself.
His approach blends the technical with the therapeutic, offering more than instruction — he creates space. Space for reflection, beauty, and for stories to surface gently, image by image.
Having first picked up a camera at the age of eight, Charles inherited photography as a family tradition. Over the years, it evolved into something deeper: a way to hold light in dark times, to honour the ordinary, and to offer peace in a restless world.
Whether he’s leading mindful photography courses, mentoring creatives, or walking with those whose spirits are worn thin, Charles invites people to see more kindly — both the world around them and the one within.
